I want 2 cut my hair short but everyone says i have nice long hair what should i do ???

i want something nice that fits on me. but everyone tells me i got nice hair and i should'nt cut it because its hard to find someone with such Long healthy looking hair .I want 2 cut my hair short but everyone says i have nice long hair what should i do ???
Your call, but I used to have long healthy gorgeous hair (like down to my butt) when I was 13, and then someone older convinced me this particular style would look good on me, and I didn't know it was going to be a really really short cut. I'm almost 25 now, and I've been trying to grow it back (and healthy) ever since. So far, it about reaches the top of my breasts (I had to have the unhealthy ends trimmed recently) =(





But then again, I never wanted my hair cut short in the first place. I was mislead. If you really want to, then maybe you won't regret it like I did. I wouldn't do it as a rash decision though. Make sure you've given it enough thought that you're 100% certain that's what you want. And then who cares what anyone else thinks! Just because you're capable of having long hair doesn't mean you have to have it that way!

i can see why this is a hard choice for you. maybe you should start little by little take about an inch off everytime. and seewhat suits you. or just chop it off all at once

I have cut my long hair off several times and always want it back, but it grows back. I just cut mine to my shoulders. So nice for summer. If you want to cut it, then cut it. It is your hair and as I said. It will grow back.
dont go drastic short try something inbetween to see if you like it if you want it shorter after that then doit its not like it wount grow back and who cares what other people think it ur hair
You should cut it for the summer that way it will be cooler and out of your way and if you end up not liking it you can always grow it back for the winter.
well first off, it's ur hair, so it's ur decision... please ur self not others.. also if u don't want to cut all of it off cut it up to mid back or shoulder length and get some layers in it.
well long hair has it's advantages;;you can do sooo much more with it





but short hair is a lot easier to maintain





you just have to decide which one works best for you


a good way to decide is to like fold your hair up to the length you want it cut and then you can get a general idea as to what it would look like.





if you get it cut short i highly recommend swoop bangs. they are verry popular and loook GREAT with shorter hair

Secondly, if you have such healthy hair, you can donate it to Locks of Love (ask the stylist about it), and they can use it to make wigs for people with cancer who lost their hair due to chemotherapy. Your hair will grow back, and it's fun to experiment with different looks to see what you like!
I have had this problem. Most of the time your friends just can picture them self doing something that drastic and they just want to be negative because thy wouldn't do this themselves and this will make you more gutsy then they could be. But it your hair and if cutting it would make you happy then you should and you shouldn't let other stand in your way. Once you have it done it will look so amazing that if they are truly your friends they will see that and love it as much as you do. So good luck and remember it's just hair and it will always grow back.

I did the same thing... took me a few days to deal with the change...but change is good once in a while...and it will grow back I promise...and if has never been colored you can donate it to ';Locks of Love'; and it is over 8 inches (might be 10) they will make wigs for cancer children... then you can fell really good about your choice :)

well i had long hair too and i was bord with it so one day i just went to the hair dresser and cut it to my shoulders. i now regret it because my hair growes really slow and i miss my pretty long hair. personally i think long hair is prettier and you can do a lot more with it. but i would say you should wash your hair make look it really nice and then make your desicion. then if you still want to do it dont go all at once [that will be to drastic] cut like 2 inches one week...see how you like it then if you want it shorter cut some more...ect.
If you want short hair, then go ahead and cut it! Who cares what other people think?? besides, hair can always grow back. I've recently just cut my hair short and i love it! its really great for the summer and so much easier to take care of.
The fact that your asking means your not sure. IF you want it do it!!!!. Everyone wants a change sometimes. Just make sure you are happy with the cut you get. And remember it WILL grow back!!!

do what u want...it`s your hair!!! if i would`ve listened to everyone who told me to stick with a boring, generic hairstyle...i would`ve never cut mine!!! but i didn`t!!! i did my own thing %26amp; now i have super-short hair which i luv!!!
