Should I get my hair cut short, or should I keep it long?

Ok, I don't know what to do :/ I have long brown wavy hair down to my collar-bone and want to get it cut short-


but the problem is that it's thin....


so what do you recommend i do, keep it long or cut it short. My best friend thinks i should cut it short and i do want it short but im worried it will look bad because my hair is thin.





If i did cut it short i would cut it into sort of a bob style.





also if you know of anything i could do to make my hair look thicker please share any information you have.

Book an appointment with a hairdresser and ask them what they think. They will be able to look at your hair and tell you what you can and can't do with it.





Then do it. To be honest, thin hair can be cut short and can look good but it does depend on the hair and the face but your hairdresser should be able to tell you this. If they can't then find somebody else.





I have recently lost a lot of weight and when I went to get my 7 weekly trim, my hairdresser (Penny) asked me if I fancied a change. I told her that I was thinking about it but didn't know what I wanted and did she have any ideas. Anyway, she started cutting and I suddenly realised some time later that she wasn't trimming my hair but re-styling it.





I have had so many comments about my new style, how up to date it looks, I look so much younger, my face looks so much better than before etc. I trust my hairdresser as I have been with her for over 6 years and she knows me and my hair. Maybe you should find a hairdresser you know and trust before letting them cut your hair.

well I had very long hair down to my ribs and cut it in feb above my shoulder and liked it. If you have a samll frame and not a round face then short hair would probally look good on you. a bob thats stacked in the back will make your hair look and feel thicker. good luck
A bob does sound a great idea for you but get a hairdresser you like and discuss it first but im sure you would like a bob there terrific smart haircuts and look great on most people
