Without a picture, here goes. Short hair to your neck would frame your face well and bring out your eyes. It would also expose your shoulders and neck. All of these can create a great look. Keeping the layers and side bangs would probably also look great. The key to pulling it off is confidence. As long as you're confident about the cut it'll look great. Yes, you should def. give it to Locks of Love. I did, and it was really cool. At some places, you get a free haircut. They made 2 wigs out of my hair cuz it was so thick. It's a great feeling.

If you do cut it, then I would suggest donating it to locks of love. I also suggest cutting some of it because this summer is supposed to be very hot, and it would weigh you down while swimming.
But if the style is flattering on you, and you can manage it, I would say leaving it would be fine.
I think long hair is very tacky (no offense) because it's very hard to take care of. Plus its summer so there are many reasons to cut it. I think you should cut it to about shoulder length.
That's way too long, I suggest you cut it to a normal length, still long, maybe up to a little above your elbows... :) :)

Don't cut it super short or anything, but you might want a new look. Just cut it to about a little below the middle of your back, and maybe get a little layered. Don't get side bangs though, cuz they are really annoying in your face all the time.

you would look really good with a stacked bob...it's VERY in right now...(Victoria Beckham, Katie Holmes, etc.) Your face shape is perfect for that style....however it IS a shorter style..so you need to be prepared for it! But it would look good!!! I love the color of your hair btw!

Should I cut my hair short and straight or grow it out long and curly?
My hair is naturally curly and super thick, but it looks really bad if I don't do anything to it. When its long then it gets more wavy (i think because of the weight) so it becomes pretty easy to curl. My hair is so thick that if i try to straighten it when its long it takes forever and looks kind of ugly. When my hair is shorter its harder to curl but easier to straighten. So should I leave it long and curly or cut it short and straighten it everyday.

I'm tired of her hair it's almost to her knees and it's way too long! I've tried eveything to make her cut it from grounding her, bribing her and now I'm at the point where I just want to cut it myself and make it reallly short, like a boyish cut. when i was 13 i hated getting my hair cut and my mom had the same problem, finally i realized how bad it looked and how horrible it felt and i asked to get it cut. If none of te above works, prov to your daughter how bad her hair really is. drop the subject for a few weeks and then sit her down and tell her its awful and its bugging you. maybe she secretly wants it cut, but she knows that she'd be giving in if she got it cut. if you drop it for awhile maybe she'll ask for it to be cut.

You should do it. My hair was so long so I cut it 1 inch past my shoulders.Its way more easy to deal with and I can style it different. You'll like it. Unless you don't like short hair at all.

Growing your hair out super long won't do anything for you. Grow it out a little more, or cut it shorter. As for color, I think you would look great with chocolate brown.

I think you could do either with your face. But as a warning, if you cut your hair short, it does take a very long time to grow back. I've grown it long after having a pixie cut twice, and it was a couple of years before it was back to being long. You can get some cute transitional haircuts, but there will definitely be awkward phases. If you aren't willing to spend a lot of money on haircuts, don't go real short. You will need much more frequent cuts to keep it up and the skill of the stylist matters a lot more.
As for dye, I've gone down that road too. If you go lighter, as long as you don't damage it too much, you can go back, although it may be expensive. If you go darker, it is harder (sometimes impossible) to undo.
Personally, after ten years of short cuts and lots of dye, I got too lazy and reverted to my natural color and long hair. I went to three foreign countries during the short/dyed phase and trying to deal with haircuts and finding dye drove me insane. I spent six months with a pseudo-mullet and gave up entirely.

Honestly, nothing makes hair grow faster. Try styling it differently, using different products, and wearing hair accesories until it gets longer (at which point you can continue to grow it out or get a cut you like). Well if you really hate it you could get hair exstensions but I wouldn't they can ruin your hair though only thing you can really do it brush it a lot and keep it healthy and to make it healthy some good home treatments is too cover your hair in loads of mannoise and cover your hair with seran wrap and let it sit for like 10 min then take a shower or poor beer in it then obviously take a shower but just brushing it a lot will make it grow faster.

Should I cut my hair shorter or keep it long?
I have long hair, about 5-6 inches below my shoulders. I am blond, and my hair is really thin, I have an oval face. I am trying to decide if I should cut it all the way up to a little below my shoulders (like an inch or so) or just cut like 2 inches off. help please :]Should I cut my hair shorter or keep it long?

I really want a change from the long hair, I'm sick of dealing with it, it's too thick and the length makes it really hard to brush. I could do layers but that's the same thing as usual. Well it's summer time sweetie. Lots of animals shed more in this heat. I know my dog is shedding like crazy! You probably shouldn't cut the cats hair though. I have never heard of anyone doing that, plus the cat might not like it too much. I guess if it is really bothering you, you should call a pet grooming place and just ask them what their opinion is. sorry it takes time for hair to grow back, you just need to keep it super healthy.... if you search in google,hair growth, this hair formula thing pops up and its shampoo and vitamins, but i cant say if it works or not. so what you need to do is stay away from heated appliances like striaghteners, and curling irons, they fry you hair and cause split ends and breakage... so your hair can grow an inch but since you have split ends, the split enditself will fall off. confusing i know! but i read that you and your hair should get at least 7-9 hours of sleep, and give your self weekly scalp massages, it gets your hair follicles going, and makes them grow a little :D make sure you hair is really moisturized too, try to fine some moisturizing hair products like silk serums and leave in conditioners and put them on by focusing on the tips of your hair.... also eat healthy! sugars and fat stop you hair follicles and your hair wont grow, lastly try to deep condition your hair monthly! ** if yiou do stle you hair every now and then with a straightener or w/e then use a heat prtoector ** AND dont buy ANY products with alcohol in them, that will dry out your hair and especially you ends and it will cause breakage, and dont shower everyday it will wash aways your bodys natural oils and strip the moisture away! hope this helped!

I cut is till it ended at the bottom of my ear and right now it is maybe to my collar bone and I think my hair grows pretty fast so, I would say you'll have probably a year until it grows back. Depending on how long you want it.
Once when my hair was too short, I went and got some light self tanner and put it around my ears and back of my neck very carefully. This helped me feel not so bald because of the white walls. also some people frost or hi-lite to make the hair seem like more.
