Should I cut my hair short and straight or grow it out long and curly?

My hair is naturally curly and super thick, but it looks really bad if I don't do anything to it. When its long then it gets more wavy (i think because of the weight) so it becomes pretty easy to curl. My hair is so thick that if i try to straighten it when its long it takes forever and looks kind of ugly. When my hair is shorter its harder to curl but easier to straighten. So should I leave it long and curly or cut it short and straighten it everyday.





What I mean by short-- right about at my shoulders.


long-- a little bit higher than my waist.

Speaking as a man I prefer a woman with long wavy hair but you are the one who has to live with it so you have to decide what is most pleasing for yourself. Not much help, was I?Should I cut my hair short and straight or grow it out long and curly?
